All fees must be paid in advance. Fee payment is due upon enrolment, then by the Friday of your child’s first week and every consecutive Friday thereafter. The minimum advance period of one week is strongly enforced. If parents wish to pay fees fortnightly, a schedule will be discussed to ensure that they remain one week in advance at all times. We would prefer fees to be paid by direct credit. We do have Eftpos facilities available onsite.
Reach for the Stars offers the 20 hours ECE subsidy which is provide by the Ministry of Education to all 3, 4 and 5 year old children. This is not based on household income, however, to be eligible you must complete a 20 Hours ECE Attestation form before your child’s 3rd birthday. This form confirms your attendance with us and that you are not attending another early childhood centre at the same time as you have applied for funding at Reach for the Stars.
ECE services cannot charge fees for the 20 Hours ECE, but they can charge for you child’s other enrolled hours outside the six hours. We have set our fees on a daily rate basis to ensure these additional fees can be charged so that we can continue to deliver high quality early childhood education and care.
These additional charges cover specific features above the regulated services funded by the government. These include; higher adult to child ratios (additional staff), food, and superior resources to name a few.
When enrolling at Reach for the Stars Early Learning Centre you are committing to pay these charges outside the 20 hours scheme, as we will continue to deliver a high quality service to families. Opting in to 20 hours is totally up to the individual family if they want the additional Government subsidy.
