Choosing the right early childhood care for your family is important. If your child will be spending time in an early childhood centre, you want to know they are being cared for and educated in a way that matches your families’ values.

At Reach for the Stars Early Learning Centre, we empower our children to become confident, independent lifelong learners by providing an engaging learning environment where children are given every opportunity, encouragement, guidance and support to ‘reach for the stars’, and to develop to their full potential.

Children at our centre are shown love and nurtured while they learn with teaching principles based on established philosophies including Reggio Emilia and Magda Gerber.

If you would like to see if Reach for the Stars Early Learning Centre is right for your family, you can give us a call, send us an email or even just pop in and visit – our Centre Manager would welcome the opportunity to show you around.

Our goal is to provide supreme childcare and to maintain a wonderful atmosphere that kids will enjoy

WINZ Subsidies

There are additional subsidies available to help families with the cost of childcare. Click below to read more about it on the Ministry of Social Development, Ministry of Education and WINZ websites, or feel welcome to contact us, we are more than happy to help guide you through this process.

20 hours ECE

The Government funds the cost of children aged three (3) years plus to attend early childhood education (ECE) for up to 20 hours per week.  This funding is called 20 Hours ECE and is available for up to six (6) hours per day for children in approved programmes, like our centre, Reach for the Stars.

Opening Hours

Our centre hours are 7:30am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday all year round.
Our centre is closed on statutory days.

"Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood, for it alone is the free expression of what is in a child's soul."
