Kia ora, my name is Carole Liang, and I am the Centre Manager at Reach for the Stars Early Learning Centre.

I hold a Bachelor of Teaching (ECE Montessori) from AUT and have dedicated many years to early childhood education. My family and I call the North Shore home, where I am a proud mother to two children, Chris and Elsie, and happily married to my husband, Edward.

Over half of my teaching career has been in leadership roles, where I have served as both Head Teacher and Centre Manager. Throughout my journey, I have developed a strong teaching philosophy rooted in a deep commitment to supporting children's holistic development. I am particularly passionate about combining the Montessori and Reggio Emilia approaches with Te Whāriki, the New Zealand early childhood curriculum, to create a rich and meaningful learning environment.

At Reach for the Stars, we provide an exceptional educational experience where children are empowered to explore their identity, connect with the world around them, and grow in their unique ways. Our program encourages children to develop "ways of knowing, ways of doing, and ways of being," setting the foundation for them to reach their full potential and, ultimately, reach for the stars.
